Grants and Scholarships

The following grants are available to non-profit organizations by invitation.

The Luna Grant For Lupus Research

This grant was established following the death of Mr. Perez’s mother who died following complications of the autoimmune disease known as Lupus. This grant provides research labs and educational institutions with funding to research improved methods of treatment for Lupus.

The McTell Grant For Cambodian Education

This grant was established for the purpose of providing funding for educational outreach in remote areas of Cambodia.

The Amanda Grant For Driver Safety

This grant was established following an automobile accident in which a driver struck Matthew E. Perez with their car resulting in 22 broken bones and eight surgeries. This grant provides educational outreach to drivers to teach them basic first aid, what to do in the event of an accident, and how to locate resources for mental trauma that may result from them hitting a pedestrian with their car.

The Terry Scholarship For Medical Students

The Office of Matthew E. Perez has partnered with multiple medical colleges throughout the United States to offer this scholarship to medical students who would otherwise be unable to attend medical school.
